playing with b2 for rhino materials I faced this weird behaviour:
I'm using PaulS' scene for a bit of testing. So the scene is lit by a point light and hdr textured skylight. The material is an advanced material with b2 sss texture in luminosity #, sss intensity=5, sss depth 50, kl=5. The material looks ok with gi off, but it becomes a dull grey if I turn gi on (all qmc sampler checks disabled). I was expecting it to emit light - behaves like that in max. The only way to let it behave as expected is to turn on the qmc sampler's skylight check.
