I dont know if this is the correct way?
Permalink Reply by Vicente Soler on November 19, 2011 at 10:34am In real life the sunlight is much stronger than the environment, that's why you see only one shadow, but it's correct to see more than one if you set the environment with the same intensity as the sun. If you want a more photo realistic effect, set the sun/environment intensity ratio as in real life. This will cause overexposed areas. Save the image as an HDR or EXR file format and edit it in photoshop or any other HDR software to fix the overexposed areas.

Am I missing any other changes?

I assume you have a HDR image where there's a sun...this will cause a second shadow. You either have to edit the image in photoshop, or put the real sun light in the same location as the HDR one.
